Sea Trail Maples Course
The Sea Trail Maples Course is a traditional golf course in South Carolina framed by twisted ancient oaks and tall Carolina pines.
The medium-length, accuracy-demanding golf course features five holes that wind around the scenic Calabash Creek with elaborate landscaping, undulating greens, and refurbished bunkers. Still regarded as one of Maples’ finest, this is a beautiful par 72 course, with A1/A4 blended Bentgrass greens. The course is also peppered with numerous waste bunkers, one of which extends the full length of a fairway.
Stay onsite at the Sea Trail Resort, and you will have access to 3 golf courses. The Willard Byrd Course and the Rees Jones Course are also found at Sea Trail. Resort lodging features 1, 2, 3, and 4 bedroom condos with views of the golf course. The Amenities Center includes an outdoor pool and Tiki Bar. Additionally, it features an indoor heated pool and hot tub, as well as an onsite bar and restaurant. The food at the restaurant is as good as anywhere you will find in the area, a real hidden gem.
